NEST is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CEBS), Mumbai.
ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಏಜುಕೇಶನ್ & ರಿಸರ್ಚ್ ಭುಬನೇಶ್ವರ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ – ಆಟೋಮಿಕ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಫಾರ್ ಎಕ್ಸಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಇನ್ ಬೇಸಿಕ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗ -ಮುಂಬೈ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಬಯಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ NEST ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ABOUT NISER
NISER, established by the Department of Atomic Energy, strives to become a citadel for basic sciences and allied subjects in terms of teaching and research. NISER offers a 5 year integrated M.Sc. programme in Biological, Chemical, Mathematical and Physical sciences. There are 200 seats for 2020 batch.
NISER ಬಯೋಲಾಜಿಕಲ್, ಕೆಮಿಕಲ್, ಗಣಿತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಸಿಕಲ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇಂಟಗ್ರೇಟೆಡ್ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 200 ಸೀಟುಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಈ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ABOUT CEBS
The Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has an autonomous Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences in Mumbai. CEBS offers a 5 year integrated M.Sc. programme in Biological, Chemical, Mathematical and Physical sciences. There are 57 seats for 2020 batch.
CEBS ಕೂಡ ಬಯೋಲಾಜಿಕಲ್, ಕೆಮಿಕಲ್, ಗಣಿತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಸಿಕಲ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇಂಟಗ್ರೇಟೆಡ್ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 57 ಸೀಟುಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಈ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after August 01, 2000 (age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ PwD)
- II PUC / 12th should be passed in either 2018 or 2019. Candidates appearing in 2020 are also eligible.
- At least 60% marks in aggregate in Class XII (55% for SC/ST)
- Candidate should secure a position in the NEST merit list.
